Disabled students in Kent and Medway can get support applying to university from the STAART team, based at the University of Greenwich.
Led by Dr. Melanie Thorley, STAART provides information and guidance to disabled and diverse students who may not feel that university is for them, or who have concerns about going to university. The STAART team are impartial and their outreach activities prepare students to thrive in HE irrespective of which universities they are considering.
STAART offers a varied calendar of events that disabled students considering Higher Education can attend throughout the year, including a number of in-person events and online webinars.

STAART can also deliver workshops in schools and colleges from ‘Preparing for University’ to presentations from STAART Student Ambassadors.
