We are delighted to announce KMPF’s next event, Pathways to Progression, which will take place on Wednesday 14 October from 9.00am to 1.30pm at Canterbury Christ Church University.
The half-day event aims to help make sure all young people, especially our most disadvantaged learners, have the knowledge, confidence and support to navigate the pathways available to them.
Whether you’re a careers lead supporting students considering higher education, exploring further education routes, support staff for vulnerable learners, or simply looking to strengthen your knowledge of the opportunities available locally, there will be something for you.
We are opening this event to all schools and colleges and anyone working with disadvantaged learners helping with progression through education.
This will be an opportunity for you to:
- Hear from our Student Choice Champion, Chianne, about the impact KMPF’s work has had on her own journey to university, and hear first-hand why accessible, informed choice matters for young people.
- Hear directly from our four partner universities about the outreach activity, opportunities and support available to schools and students throughout the year.
- Explore progression through FE and hear about the opportunities and support available from our partner FE colleges for students considering this route.
- Connect and collaborate with colleagues from schools, colleges, universities and across the wider education sector.
- Discover what’s out there in our marketplace, with a fantastic range of organisations joining us, including our KMPF Projects with Boys, Care Experienced Students, Military families and SEND students.
Come along, make connections, discover new opportunities and take away practical knowledge to support the young people you work with.
Please RSVP here if you would like to attend. We’d love to see you there!
