Putting Theory into Practice – Exploring the Taking Boys Seriously Principles in Detail
A FREE three-part workshop series will take place this spring to support local educators in translating the Taking Boys Seriously principles, developed by Ulster University, into effective practice.
The half-day workshops will be held from 9.30 am – 12.00 pm on Wednesday 25th March, Wednesday 22nd April and Wednesday 20th May 2026 at the University of Kent campus.
Organised in collaboration with the Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF) and the University of Kent, the series builds on the momentum generated by the Kent and Medway Boys’ Impact Hub launch event in April 2025.
Across the programme, participants will hear from a range of speakers who will bring first-hand experience in this field and will be supported to develop practical ideas, tools and approaches to embed the principles within their own settings.
These sessions are expected to be oversubscribed. To maximise impact, priority for places will be given to participants who are able to attend all three sessions.
