About the activity
The workshop begins with a personal statement talk to help student understand what should and should not be included in a personal statement. Following this students complete activities designed to encourage them to think about their skills and accomplishments. The session ends with a look at some sample personal statements to test if the students can assess a good and a bad personal statement
