About the activity

Using Brightside’s fully moderated e-mentoring platform, students will be matched to a mentor for 6 weeks where they will share tips and online resources to help guide and support them in English.

Our mentors are either studying a related subject at university or have studied it for A-level giving them the  confidence and experience to support students at GCSE level.

Aims of the programme

  • Increased confidence within the classroom and communicating with new people
  • Greater understanding of the relationships between your subjects and future choices
  • Greater feeling of motivation towards your studies and your ability to achieve better grades
  • Develop new study skills and revision techniques from a current university student
  • Build self awareness on your skillset in school study and how you can develop further independently
