This April, the Kent & Medway Progression Federation (KMPF) is once again hosting Opening Doors: Spring School 2025—a three-day programme designed to introduce children in care to the world of higher education (HE) in an engaging, supportive, and fun environment.
Running from Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th April, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm each day, the Spring School offers a unique opportunity for students to experience life at university firsthand.
Over the three days, participants will visit Canterbury Christ Church University, the University of Kent, and the University for the Creative Arts. Supported by friendly student ambassadors, they’ll take part in a range of activities designed to help them understand what university is, what it means to be a student, and the exciting possibilities higher education can offer—all while having fun!
We welcome applications from children in care and care-experienced young people currently living in Kent and Medway, who are in school years 9–14 (or FE equivalent).
Places are limited, and applications must be submitted by Friday 21 March.
