On October 15th, Kent and Medway Progression Federation (KMPF) hosted our highly anticipated 2024 Partnership Summit, marking another successful gathering of educational institutions and organisations committed to helping underrepresented young people across the region access higher education.

We were thrilled to welcome our university partners — Canterbury Christ Church University, University for the Creative Arts, University of Greenwich, and University of Kent — and dedicated colleagues from schools and colleges across Kent and Medway.

The Summit featured a lineup of engaging speakers who shared insights and inspiration, including Charley O’Regan, Nisha Tank, Dylan Stallard, Francesca Plom, Nicola Turner, Sian Lewis, Chris Targett RCDP, Jessica Tuominen, and Shauna O’Brien.

This year’s marketplace was also a vibrant space for exchanging ideas, with stallholders representing a diverse array of organisations, from the Kent & Medway Careers Hub and Kent and Medway Maths Hub to the Big Cat Sanctuary, the National Literacy Trust, and UCAS, among many others.

Gavin Delf, KMPF Hub Manager, said, “We are incredibly grateful to our speakers for their contributions and the perspectives they brought to the event. We also appreciate the efforts of our partners, who share our commitment to supporting young people across Kent and Medway. We look forward to further collaboration as we continue to build pathways to higher education for the students who need it most.”

Good range of talks and staff helped me learn more about who's working within role at new school.

I am new to my role and I found that the summit gave me all the information I was needing to fulfill my objectives for my school in their partnership with KMPF. The speeches were informative and insightful and the stall holders were great.
